BBC WORLD SERVICE AND THE SUNDANCE INSTITUTE LAUNCH A NEW COLLABORATION
June 2017 | BBC
“We’re very excited about collaborating with Sundance Institute, who share our passion for the very best storytelling. As radio continues to enjoy a renaissance and podcasting goes from strength to strength, we hope this collaboration might tempt documentary makers who’ve previously focused on film and TV to also explore audio. This series of creative, ambitious and thought-provoking programmes will explore the world today for the wide BBC World Service global audience.” Says Mary Hockaday, the controller for BBC World Service English.
As the broadcast industry is so versatile many tv professionals working in editorial have added podcasting to their remit. The series will also feature a strong visual element online, further bridging the gap between audio and visual broadcasting. If you would like to find out more, please click here.
